Educational Resource Group will be hosting an American Heart Association BLS Instructor Program 4/2/10 1800-2200 at our East Providence office.
This program has prerequisites as well as post requisites in order for the participant to credential themselves fully.
Prerequisites include successful completion of the AHA CORE Instructor program. With this program instructor candidates can gain a firm foundation for teaching American Heart Association courses, regardless of their area of specialization.
For optimal flexibility, the course can be delivered one of two ways: online or on a CD for self-directed learning. The CORE Instructor Course comes with a workbook that includes the course CD -- which allows students access to review course concepts anywhere, anytime -- plus a voucher providing access to the online course. The workbook will be provided following registration & payment.
Post requisites include "Instructor Monitoring" where the participant will be required to assist with a CPR program within 6 months of the Instructor Program. It is the responsibility of the participant not ERG to seek out an "Instructor Monitoring" opportunity.
The cost of the program is $150.00
